A Dying Nation

I’ve been on Akkisan, plying the Teleporting trade.
Lower Jeuno is quieter these days. Not as many people. The gil trickles in at an unbearably slow pace- much like how the sewers of Bastok must be, filled with gunk, trickling away slowly. Maybe that’s why its stench was so pungent.
I suppose the people went away to Aht Urhgan, making it their new city of choice. Jeuno lost its place of important as more people hit the higher levels, just like how the Outlands was so much more exciting than Azeroth once one got there. The quest rewards, the gold, the enemies… All so much more fascinating than the old world.

You see the Auction House? It used to be so crowded that one could barely push through it; you’d run into knees and ankles everywhere. Now Jeuno has just become another city, like San d’Oria, Windurst, Bastok. This is dismal news.
This means I have become seriously, painfully outdated.

Panic Taru! I recently found your first blog, wondered where you had gotten to. :-).
I’m sorry, I was a nub and didn’t switch things over before I commented on your journal. :[.
Please forgiiive meeee!
See, we thought that too. :[. So we tried explaining, and she snapped at us saying ’she knew’ and didn’t need us to tell her. Argh. Oh well, todays a new day, maybe she read up on it after her pride was hammered? xD.

Agreed. I just recently joined back after a 3-4 year leave. Everything changed since then. The auction house I remember used to be filled with mules, opening up their bazaars, hoping to sell their various goods that were 1 gil cheaper than auction house prices :/
Every nation became much more quieter, and there are barely any more lowbies to hang around with.
