Easing back into the World

I’ve been back for about a day or two now, on Raen – yes really! I’m back! After so long!

(Of course, Z paid for my account… for now. Until I figure out a way to transfer money to him.)

Of course, since he’d also bought me the ToAU expansion as a Christmas present, I rushed right out of Jeuno and got the items needed for the Boarding Permit… those Tenshodo people really know how to make us run errands…

Who was I to find but XephysephyramT (ign: Xephenia) online? :D She came down to Blastok – oops! I mean, Bastok to accompany me while I explored the filthy mines for copper. Funny, I found more Mithril and Zinc veins in there…

Xeph also taught me about the new commands -

/dance1~4 in particular :3 … I love dance1 and dance 4, they just amuse me so much! And does anyone feel that dance2, aka “Elegant Waltz” is about as elegant as prancing on a trampoline is?…

I haven’t be able to get a party yet, so I headed out to my  soloing spot in Pxo’ja and grinded away for an hour or two, and hit Level 58 on my Black Mage!

A level closer to biting Z on his Ninja’s level (I think he’s 71!)

However, I returned to find an empty linkshell, as MightAndMana gave up the ghost. According to the LS message they were merging with another linkshell… Well, no matter – Neshamah managed to get back on FFXI just today, so I suppose the two of us will be looking for a new linkshell, or creating our own… We even thought of the name for it! – but I cannot remember what it was… Oops!
